London’s brilliant Rudimental are thrilled to announce the release of their brand new single, ‘Powerless,’ the final to be taken from the platinum selling debut album ‘Home.’ This single features the gripping vocals of Becky Hill – the voice of Wilkinson’s 2013 smash ‘Afterglow’.   ‘Powerless’ is set for release via Asylum Records on 17 February. This next instalment showcases the Hackney group’s signature blend of soulful vocals and empowering lyrics over an energetic a gritty beat. This time the band employ employing harmonic strings as an alternative horns calling to mind the beautiful, street- friendly Massive Attack with devastating effect.

2013 was a triumphant year for Rudimental amassing an impressive list of critical and commercial accolades including a platinum selling debut album, two sold out headline tours, a YouTube award for best video, a MOBO Award for ‘Best Album’ amongst these and various others the band and were shortlisted for one of the most prestigious awards the music industry offers - The Mercury Music Prize. Rudimental are set to continue to flourish this year by kicking off 2014 with three BRIT Award nominations for ‘Best British Group’, ‘Best Album’ and ‘Best Single’ (‘Waiting All Night’). Furthermore, the Hackney quartet will be performing at this year’s bash on Wednesday 19th February at O2 Arena.

Rudimental (Piers Aggett, Amir Amor, Kesi Dryden and Leon Rolle) have continued to win rapturous responses for their live shows. This Live extravaganza that has kept audiences entertained will be continuing in 2014 with a SOLD OUT headline tour inclusive of an incredible three consecutive nights at London Brixton’s O2 Academy. The unique sound clash of live instruments, soul and beats is proving a winning formula at their gigs and there is no sign of a halt to the phenomenal journey the boys have revelled in over the past year.
