Sinitta set to release 2017 rework of the 80’s classic dance hit ‘So Macho’

July will see one of the UK’s much loved celebrities returning to the music scene. Sinitta reignites her love of dance music with the highly anticipated re-release of her BPI certified Gold 80’s single, ‘So Macho’.

This time around it’s been reworked and given a 2017 makeover by producer Koercive.
‘So Macho’ is to be released on independent label Avenoir Records. The package will also include a shape cutting remix by House music’s man of the moment, Louie Anderson (Nervous Records, Elrow).

It’s set to be a huge summer anthem and a sneak glimpse into her new studio album which is currently being penned and scheduled for an autumn 2017 release.

Sinitta said, “Working with Martin (Koercive) and Andy at Avenoir has given me more than just a new single to release but a new lease of life! I’m coming at you Millennials refreshed and re-energized!”

Koercive, who reworked the entire instrumentation and produced the single said “Reworking the 80's smash hit ‘So Macho’ has been one of the biggest challenges of my musical career! The outcome being a contemporary, yet ahead of the curve dance track that won't be out of place in any venue across the UK, Europe and beyond!”

The album, sees Sinitta celebrate her dancefloor roots and is being overseen by Martin West, who has worked with and for the likes of Estelle, Sam ‘Romans’ Roman, Mark Hill (Artful Dodger), Ben Ofoedu (Phats & Small) and Robin Millar (Sade, Randy Crawford) as executive producer.

Further details on the album, including the track listing, are to be announced shortly.

God Mother of LGBT Sinitta will be performing this track exclusively for the first time on both the Ladies stage in Leicester Square and The Main stage in Trafalgar Square for Pride in London 2017 on July 8th, and trust us you won’t want to miss this.
