Avril Lavigne “hurt” by record label

Avril Lavigne has revealed that her record label was unimpressed with her new album, “Goodbye Lullaby.”

"I put so much into this record, but the record company were kind of cold,” she told the ‘News of the World.’ “It's hurtful actually.”

She added, “I've been doing this for ten years now and I write my own music. All of these new people were telling me what to do and I was like: 'NO, NO, NO!' This is my fourth record and I'm 26 so it's time for me to do something a little different. I love this record and I'm really proud of it."

‘Goodbye Lullaby’ is released today.
