Avril Lavigne debuts new song live

Avril Lavigne treated fans to an unheard new song whilst playing live.

The Canadian was performing at West Hollywood's Viper Room last night (April 25) when she debuted the song '17'.

The track looks set to feature on the singer's forthcoming new album, which is due to be released later this year.

Introducing the song, Lavigne said: "I wrote this song about - duh! - being 17, so that's pretty much it. I hope I remember all the words."

'17' follows on from the release of lead single 'Here's To Never Growing Up', which is being released as a single in the UK on June 23.

As previously reported, Lavigne recently revealed that she and husband-to-be Chad Kroeger have had matching tattoos inked.
