New Build release 'Misery Loves Company' today, November 28

NEW BUILD
Featuring Members from Hot Chip & LCD Soundsystem
'Misery Loves Company'
Limited Edition 12" Out 28th November on Lanark Recordings
Live At Elektrowerkz Tuesday, 29th November

New Build is Tom Hopkins, Al Doyle and Felix Martin with special appearances from Planningtorock...

New Build produce and craft their music at a semi derelict creative utopia in London, utilising an esoteric collection of microphones, synthesizers and drums to create their peculiar sound.

The first release on New Build's own Lanark Recordings imprint will be a limited edition 12" featuring three tracks. 'Misery Loves Company' is a fast paced track with an uplifting chorus, a wild violin section and a furious percussion breakdown. 'Guitar Man' combines deadpan lyricism from vocalist Al Doyle with a pounding drum beat courtesy of LCD Soundsytem's Pat Mahoney. The third track is a remix of 'Finding Reasons' from Planningtorock, who also contributes her unique vocals too the other tracks on the single.

This ultra-limited edition 12" is a handprinted, handnumbered edition limited to 500 copies with artwork from Andy Martin.

The members of New Build bring along and extensive live experience to the stage. They are now collaborating with a group of talented musicians - Rupert Clervaux, drummer formerly of the Sian Alice Group, Charlie Michael on percussion and Ben Ulby on bass guitarte - and will be performing for the first time in London on Tuesday, 29th November at Electowekz. The show is 100% free!

A full album will be out early next year so keep your eyes peeled...
