"Confident and commanding... celestial groovers... injected with a much-needed blast of psychedelia and a much-appreciated lack of self-seriousness" - Village Voice

CCC (pronounced “see see see”, “sí sí sí” or simply “Triple C”) is a New York creative trio working in music, design and print media. Their cutting-edge hybrid DJ/Live PA performance combines Night Plane’s forward-thinking electronic productions with DJ Harry’s traditional vinyl mixing skills. Together they weave a psychedelic sonic tapestry out of original tracks, re-edits and classics that traverses multiple genres, twisting in and out of acid, deep house, indie rock and leftfield disco. CCC’s latest release, ‘Sonic Underground’, compiles remixes from the CCC universe.

Mugwump’s remix of CCC’s 'Acid Snow' has already earned huge accolades from Ewan Pearson and Magda  Ivan Smagghe calls it "a no-nonsense record. While some look for experimental arty-ness, some for the big hit, all of this pretending to be 'underground', Mugwump pull out of their sleeves what is properly hard to achieve, a cool big track."

Also on 'Sonic Underground', Mack Winston & The Reflections see their swaggering glam-rock transformed by CCC into a deep back-room sex jam that's getting big support from the Wolf + Lamb crew and is featured on Soul Clap's compilation CD for Mixmag in February. CCC’s last release, the no-wave/house burner 'Acid Snow', was charted on the Village Voice’s best 12”s of 2011 list. CCC broke ground on their eponymous label in 2010 with the highly-coveted Night Plane – 'Str8 2 Ur Heart' vinyl-only 12” (w/ remix by Gadi of Wolf + Lamb) which lit up dance floors in 2010 and has been' charted by a spectrum of DJs including Jacques Renault, Till von Sein and Sasha. Night Plane’s 'Parallel Lines' was featured on Soul Clap’s 'Social Experiment compilation for Art Department’s No. 19 label - Pitchfork calls the track “a paean to a lone raver lost in sound willing the night to black out the encroaching daylight.”

Night Plane has since struck further dancefloor gold with his deep house remixes of indie artists Warpaint and Charli XCX, and his solo productions will be spotlighted on his forthcoming EP for Wolf + Lamb. A decks veteran and consummate crate-digger, DJ Harry has assembled the Anthology of American Acid House, a three-mix set that rewrites the history of acid by combining classics with forgotten gems.  The Anthology culminates in Harry’s visionary Slow Motion Acid mix, where he applies the drugged-out chop and screw method invented in his Texas homeland.

CCC’s latest print publication is On Acid: A Field Guide to Altered States, a heavily researched foray into the theme of psychedelic experience in contemporary art, drawing on works by Antonin Artaud, William James, Henri Michaux and Brion Gysin, as well as new interviews with artists Jonah Freeman and Justin Lowe, Arik Roper, and documentary filmmaker Hamilton Morris.
