One of the most extraordinary internet phenomenons of recent times, imamiwhoamiwill release the audiovisual album kin on the their label To Whom It May Concern next week. kin is a musical album and 45 minute film. The first chapter 'sever' was released in February and the final one 'goods' in June, marking the completion of the album. All the videos can be viewed on imamiwhoami's youtube channel now… http://www.youtube.com/iamamiwhoami

For the past two years iamamiwhoami has surprised, delighted and intrigued in equal measure. Beautiful and mysterious music videos began to appear online, both surreal and visually sumptuous. Speculation was rife as to who the artist in question might be whilst the videos generated millions of hits and created a huge online following. Over time the singer was discovered to be Jonna Lee, though little was known of her or her collaborators. Plaudits followed including a Swedish Grammy award for 'Innovator of the Year' and MTV's 'Digital Genius Award' this summer. To date iamamiwhoami's videos have accumulated over 17,000,000 hits.

Early acclaim for kin:
"an album of sumptuously sculpted electronica, Kin is a deeply rewarding immersive experience" Uncut – 8/10
“Classy and peerless electronic music… Theirs is a sophisticated, nuanced and polished kind of electronic dreaming which rewards more and more with each listen.” Electronic Magazine

"The act's first formal releases delivers on the early promise. Its a highly evolved take on Scandi-pop, and while its presented as an 'audivisual album' the songs alone conjure a lavish world of their own"Q

"ambient-touched electronic-pop that possesses a deep and distinctive Scandinavian glow that crosses between Bjork, Robyn and Fever Ray inimitability. As unique as it is classy" Loud & Quiet – 7/10
