Every episode, Greg James and Bella Mackie hear from inspiring teachers, all about compelling subjects of their choice.

Having covered topics so far like, how can we move to the moon? Can we trust our own memories? How did exploding rats help win WWII?, series three promises many more fascinating conversations about subjects you didn’t expect to be learning about.

As well as deep dives into various teachers’ fields of expertise, the podcast also spotlights the brilliant communicators who motivate and inspire children across the country.

Inquisitive and competitive to a fault, the husband-and-wife duo are ready to learn… and have some fun - and a little bit of bickering - along the way!

Greg and Bella say: “We loved the first two series of Teach Me A Lesson, and so did many of you, so we’re thrilled to be back for a new series. As always, we have some wonderful teachers lined up to give us fascinating lessons about their favourite subjects. We can’t wait to get back to the classroom and learn some new things with the listeners.”

The third series of Teach Me A Lesson kicks off with Maths teacher and former semi-professional footballer Mr. Grindrod. In a lesson all about sequences, patterns and ratios, we'll find out how much maths goes into the things we find beautiful - from beautiful flowers to beautiful buildings, artworks and even faces!

The bonus Break Time episodes, available only on BBC Sounds, also return this term with Greg and Bella talking to celebrity guests about their school days.
