The single has a summer Afro-dancehall flavour and showcases Sam And The Womp’s signature ‘Brass and Beats’ sound with catchy brass riffs and danceable grooves. Sam Ritchie says: “‘Come We Play’ is my favourite track to date and was such fun to make recording with my good friends. I woke up one morning, actually a few years back now, with the horn line in my head and sang it into my phone, so happy it sees the light of day with this amazing production!” Sam And The Womp are best known for the Number 1 UK single “Bom Bom” with 55 million Spotify streams under their belt, performances at Wembley Arena and Glastonbury Festival and toured Australia with Mark Ronson and MIA. Fronted by award-winning trumpeter Sam Ritchie, Sam And The Womp draw on their eclectic heritage, breaking free of convention, prioritising the party and creating a cultural explosion. Following Sam’s move to Amsterdam from London a few years back, Natty Campbell also recently moved to The Netherlands. The band play a special headline show in London at How the Light Gets In festival on 21st September at the beautiful Kenwood House in Hampstead Heath.
