It’s about social anxiety and the night feeling so long because you’re pretending to feel good when you’re actually not okay”, says Charlotte. “I’ve experienced that many times – feeling not ‘French enough’, feeling anxious, and wanting to hide it. But there’s a positive message in the song: the night will end, and you’ll get through it. You just have to remind yourself you’re a dope person.”

The track is 100% self-produced, a product of over a year of experimentation and refinement. “I started making the beat in early 2023, shortly after experiencing the night that inspired the song”, shares Charlotte. “I worked on it all by myself, which gave me complete creative freedom.
