Rising genre-bending artist Eternal Khali, who hails from Washington, D.C., has just released his latest single, “Recognize My Face, Pt. 2”, an electrifying track with a fresh underground rap vibe. With KGoLive – a producer known for his work with XanMan and more – at the helm, this single bursts with dynamic synths, 808s and high-energy drums.

With “Recognize My Face, Pt. 2”, the artist delves into themes of transformation, ambition and integrity. “It’s about new life, new faces, new money and keeping the same values that got you there”, says Khali. “We’re pro-designer and pro-small business but anti-capitalist.”

The single also holds a personal edge, as Khali recalls the excitement of crafting the track in the studio with KGoLive. “My bro KGoLive and I were in the studio after two or three songs in on the night. He played the beat, and I freaked out because the melody and drums felt very much like my favourites off of Nevermind by Nirvana but if it were hyperpop”, Khali shares. “I just needed him to re-sequence the beat and make it so that I could do my thing. I ended up having a really fun approach to it, speaking on changes in the past year in the world around me.”

“Recognize My Face, Pt. 2” is taken from Khali’s latest EP, BLEACH II, and showcases his ability to fuse elements of danceable energy with deep, lyrical introspection.
