South London-born artist BOYSCRY2 continues to break boundaries with an eclectic fusion of genres on his latest single, “GO”.

After making waves in the drill scene under a previous alias, BOYSCRY2 has redefined his musical journey, centring his artistry on themes of male mental health and emotional vulnerability. His work dismantles societal stigmas surrounding men and their emotions, using his music to challenge the toxic notion that "men don’t cry".

BOYSCRY2’s music is a poetic reflection of his own journey as a young man navigating identity, relationships and self-expression. Drawing on the vibrant cultural influences of his Caribbean upbringing and London’s rich alternative and punk history, his sound is an unmistakable blend of soulful lyricism and dynamic sonic experimentation.

On “GO”, BOYSCRY2 delivers an innovative mix of folk, trap and country undertones, creating a genre-defying track that speaks directly to the complexities of love and relationships. The song, born from a deeply personal moment, captures the emotional turbulence of a challenging relationship.

“GO represents the purgatory of modern relationships and love”, says BOYSCRY2. “I was having a hard time in a relationship, and I was trying to sort out my feelings, so I decided to just speak to the mic and freestyled.” With heartfelt melodies and introspective lyricism, “GO” offers listeners a window into BOYSCRY2’s soul, inviting them to confront their own emotions and experiences.

BOYSCRY2’s reinvention is more than a shift in sound – it's a call to action for men to embrace vulnerability and break free from societal constraints. “GO” is available to buy/stream now on all platforms.
