Born in Jamaica, raised in the UK and now based back in Jamaica, Marz’s story is one of resilience, transformation and artistic expression. With Healing, Marz takes listeners through the defining moments of his past – growing up surrounded by gang and street life, facing the harsh reality of incarceration and ultimately seeking redemption through self-awareness and music.

“This EP is a healing process”, Marz shares. “It details being lured into gang and street life at a young age, then having to come to terms with the consequences of being locked up in prison and away from family. In order to heal, we must understand what happened in our past, embrace the pain and learn from our mistakes. Only then can the real healing process begin. The songs on the EP are some of the first ever songs I recorded when I first went to the studio. I felt I had a lot on my heart and wanted to express this through songs.”

The EP captures the raw urgency of an artist unburdening his soul through music. It features standout tracks such as “Bad Memories” and the poignant title track “Healing”, offering an unfiltered look at Marz’s experiences and emotions.
