Beyoncé surprised festival goers at Coachella last night (April 12) when she made an unannounced appearance.

The ‘Flawless’ singer took to the stage during her sister Solange’s set at the Californian music event.

Solange played her hit ‘Losing You’ to bring her set list to a close and was joined by older sister Beyoncé during the song to perform a dance routine together.

To introduce her special guest Solange said: "Give it up for my favourite dancing partner and my favourite person in the world, my sister Beyoncé."

The Knowles sisters also shared a hug before leaving the stage.

Another highlight of Solange’s show in the Gobi tent was a cover version of Kate Bush’s 1985 single ‘Cloudbursting’. Before playing 'Cloudbursgting' Solange told the crowd that Kate Bush is one of her favourite artists and has been trying to drop hints to her boyfriend about taking a trip to London to see Bush play live later this year.
