Beyoncé and Jay Z tour predicted to become second highest grossing ever

Beyoncé and Jay Z's upcoming joint tour is expected to become the second highest grossing ever.

The couple are due to head out on their On The Run jaunt this summer across North America and it looks set to see the duo cash in.

Based on gross revenue per concert, the 20-show run is expected to become second highest grossing tour ever by bagging $5m (£2,931,522) per gig.

U2's monolithic 360 tour is currently top of the tour list, pocketing $6,694,742 (£3,925,025) per show, whilst The Rolling Stones' mid-2000s 'Bigger Bang' run will be third ($3,876,773/£2,272,893).

The On The Run tour is due to kick off in Miami on June 25, with two Paris dates announced for later in the year.
