A man was taken to hospital during a recent Beyoncé and Jay Z concert after allegedly having his finger bitten off.

The two music stars brought their On The Run tour to Los Angeles' Rose Bowl Stadium on Saturday (August 2).

However, Pasadena Police Department have revealed that a man was hospitalised with a dismembered finger after apparently getting into an altercation with another gig-goer.

Police say Roberto Alcaraz Garnica, of San Diego, groped a woman at the stadium - and this prompted the lady's boyfriend to retaliate.

They are said to have gotten into a scuffle before Garnica allegedly bit off one of the man's fingers.

The reported attacker was arrested and "booked on a charge of mayhem".
