BBC Worldwide have acquired the TV rights to distribute 'On The Run', which the company will put to the market for broadcasters around the world to purchase and air on their channels. The highly anticipated show is produced by HBO and it runs for two and a half hours.

Beyoncé and her husband, hip-hop superstar Jay Z, performed at the Stade de France in Paris in September as part of their collaborative On The Run tour. 'Starships' rapper Nicki Minaj made a cameo during the gig to perform her 'Flawless' remix with Beyoncé.

Salim Mukaddam, director of music for BBC Worldwide, said: "On The Run is a totally unique, never-to-be-repeated, masterpiece performance film showcasing the talent of arguably the two biggest musical stars on the planet: "We are honoured to extend our relationship with Beyoncé's company Parkwood Entertainment as well as working with Roc Nation on this incredible project."
