Beyoncé's new album is 'very powerful' and deals with 'real issues'

Songwriter and singer Carla Marie Williams has been in the studio with Beyoncé working on the superstar's next record and confessed that it is sounding 'very powerful' so far.

Speaking to British newspaper The Mirror, Williams explained that Bey's forthcoming new album has some harder-hitting lyrical content that is more concerned with 'real issues':

“When I’m in the studio with Beyonce she makes you feel so at ease you forget she’s a superstar. I’m loving where she’s going. I haven’t heard the whole album but we’re talking real issues. The new single we’ve done is very powerful.”

Beyoncé recently sat down for an interview with Garage magazine and spoke about her mother, Tina, who she described as her biggest hero: "My biggest hero is and always will be my mother. She has taught me about caring for others, working hard and working smart. Everything I know about being a mother comes from the examples she has shown. My mother has instilled confidence in my sister and me and taught us to always be grateful."
