Beyoncé launches new album 'Lemonade' after HBO special

Beyonce has surprised her fans with a brand new album, 'Lemonade'.

The 12-track album was made available exclusively through Tidal last night (April 23).

It was premiered during an hour-long TV special on HBO, which told a story about unfaithfulness and reconciliation, all connected by a voiceover from Beyoncé, who started with the line: "Are you cheating on me?"

The album includes the controversial single 'Formation', which debuted earlier this year and was performed by Queen Bey at the Super Bowl alongside British rock quartet, Coldplay.

It includes a guest-list of:

  • Kendrick Lamar on 'Freedom'
  • James Blake on 'Forward'
  • The Weeknd on '6 Inch' (which samples Animal Collective's 'My Girls')
  • Jack White on 'Don't Hurt Yourself'

Lemonade Tracklist:

  • 'Pray You Catch Me'
  • 'Hold Up'
  • 'Don’t Hurt Yourself' (feat. Jack White)
  • 'Sorry'
  • '6 Inch' (feat. The Weeknd)
  • 'Daddy Lessons'
  • 'Love Drought'
  • 'Sandcastles'
  • 'Forward' (feat. James BLake)
  • 'Freedom' (feat. Kendrick Lamar)
  • 'All Night'
  • 'Formation'
  • 'Lemonade' is Beyoncé’s fifth solo album and her follow-up to 2013’s self-titled LP.

The superstar is currently gearing up for her Formation World Tour, with opening act DJ Khaled, which kicks off on April 27 in Miami, then heads to Europe before ending in Brussels on July 31.

It's estimated that Beyoncé could earn $250 million from the tour.
