Beyoncé show in New Jersey postponed for vocal rest
An upcoming Beyoncé concert in New Jersey has been postponed as the singer needs vocal rest.
Her Formation Tour event at the MetLife Stadium on Wednesday (September 7) will no longer go ahead.
However, the date has been rescueduled to October 7.
A statement read: "As a result of strict doctor’s orders for vocal rest, Beyoncé’s highly anticipated New York city area Formation World Tour date in E. Rutherford previously scheduled for this Wed. September 7th at MetLife Stadium has been postponed until Friday, October 7th.
"Fans holding tickets for the previously scheduled performance should retain them as they will be valid at the rescheduled MetLife Stadium date.
"If necessary, refunds will be available as of Wed. September 7th at point of purchase. Tickets for the rescheduled concert date – Friday, October 7th at MetLife Stadium will be available at www.livenation.com and www.ticketmaster.com.
"There are no changes to any additional dates at this time and performances in St. Louis, Los Angeles, Santa Clara, Houston, New Orleans, Atlanta, Philadelphia & Nashville are expected to proceed as scheduled. Live Nation and Parkwood Entertainment apologize for any inconvenience."
