Beyonce to perform at this year's (BET) Awards on June 28th

US singer Beyonce is to perform at this year's Black Entertainment TV (BET) awards, it has been announced. The singer has five nominations, including one for best female R&B artist and two in the video of the year category for If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies.

Organisers also confirmed the 27-year-old would be attending the ceremony with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.

Oscar-winning actor and singer Jamie Foxx will host the show on 28 June from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Rapper TI also has five nods, while Lil Wayne, T-Pain and Keri Hilson have four each.

British star MIA has two nominations - for best female hip-hop artist and best new artist.

Kanye West, Maxwell, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo and Soulja Boy will also be performing at the show.

Last year, West took home awards for best male hip-hop artist and best collaboration for Good Life, featuring T-Pain.
