Beyoncé's family business clashes

Beyoncé may have an ideal life in the eyes of many, but admits sometimes working so closely with her loved ones can be trying.

The 'Halo' hitmaker runs her label House of Deréon alongside her designer mother, Tina Knowles, and until earlier this year was managed by her father, Matthew, and explained to More magazine that it can be difficult to step back into a purely professional mindset when doing business with your own family:

"It does get difficult sometimes. My mother and I work so well together and we agree. Well 99 per cent of the time. And the one per cent? We're human. And sometimes we go back and forth but it never lasts."

"I'm lucky because I can leave and I know everything's going to be fine and great because my mother's there taking care of everything."

Despite the occasional clashing of opinions, Beyoncé did explain that she is incredibly thankful for the way everything has turned out and for the chance to bring her family along for the ride:

"I grew up watching both he and my mother manage me and own their own businesses. They are hard working entrepreneurs and I will continue to follow in their footsteps."

The chart-topping icon is currently working on her new record and will headline this year's Glastonbury festival in June. Check out her brand new single, 'Girls (Who Run The World)' here:
