Scottish festival T in the Park, which already has a line up to rival some of the UK's biggest summer music events, has announced that Beyoncé has been confirmed as one of the performers. 

Around midnight last night, May 4, the organisers unveiled the exciting news and wrote:

"I think you could all tell there was a big artist announcement to come and you were right…we are extremely excited to announce the beautifully amazing BEYONCÉ will be heading to Balado in July!!"

The 'Single Ladies' superstar will play the mainstage on July 9 and this announcement comes just a day after Twin Atlantic, Jon Fratelli and The Airborne Toxic Event all joined the bill.
