Last night, May 18, Beyoncé premiered her brand new video for 'Run The World (Girls)' on American Idol and VEVO simultaneously. 

Although the episode of the popular music talent competition will be shown tonight in the UK, the singer's new offering has already been put online so that fans all over the world are able to watch it. 

Directed by Francis Lawrence, the video features many different and stunning outfit changes, intricate fast-paced routines and a troupe of fierce female backing dancers. This is easily Beyoncé's most edgy release to date and the attitude with which she executes both her vocals and visuals shows that she completely owns it.
