International superstar Beyoncé has addressed the fact that her new album, '4', has leaked in its entirety a week before its official release. 

The 'Halo' hitmaker took to her official Facebook page today, June 8, and commented on the unfortunate incident, which has seen her brand new record unveiled to the masses ahead of its scheduled release date of Monday, June 27:

"This is not how I wanted to present my new songs but I appreciate the positive response from my fans. I make music to make people happy and everyone is anxious to hear [it]."
