Beyoncé has admitted that she's more into loafers than heels now that she is a mother.

Beyoncé recently topped People magazine's list of the world's most beautiful women - only a couple of months after giving birth to her first child, Blue Ivy Carter.

Speaking to People, Beyoncé opened up on life as a new mother, admitting that previously she never thought there would be a day when she would go without heels - but that has all changed. She said:

"I never thought there would be a day when I wouldn't wear heels. Now that I have a child, I walk around holding her all day, I'm buying loafers and oxfords. I love them because they're comfortable, and shorter heels too."

Her husband Jay-Z meanwhile is seemingly a fan of the laid back approach. She added: "He likes me more natural - just more relaxed, natural me."
