Beyonce invites 11-year-old cancer patient on stage

Beyoncé has made an 11-year-old cancer patient's dream come true at her concert in Sydney.

On Friday, the 'Sweet Dreams' singer plucked Chelsea James from the audience and invited the young girl to join her on stage before dedicating a rendition of 'Halo' to her.

After charming a volunteer at Ronald McDonald House, a charity home for sick children, James was offered a gold reserve ticket to the concert before being moved closer to the stage by Beyoncé's management. It was then she was invited on stage by the 28-year-old superstar.

"I was breathless," James told Australian media.

The performance, which brought many of the 15,000 concert goers to tears, has become a hit on YouTube with over 700,000 hits.
