Beyoncé stars in World Humanitarian Day themed 'I Was Here' video

Beyoncé has unveiled a special World Humanitarian Day video for her track 'I Was Here'.

As previously reported, the vocal star recently performed at the United Nation's General Assembly Hall in New York as she teamed up with the organisation to promote World Humanitarian Day (August 19).

She has now released a video of her performance, which sees Beyoncé perform at the grand setting in front of a visual backdrop.

The performance of 'I Was Here' - which features on the singer's 2011 album '4' - is interspersed with shots of people all around the globe as the world came together to support World Humanitarian Day.

The day was designed to hold a "global celebration of people helping people", with a particular focus on those who work in aid.
