Beyoncé shares voting photos and writes open letter to President Obama

Now that election day has finally arrived, vocal sensation Beyoncé has already been to vote and shared her experience with her fans by posting photos of the occasion on her blog.

She uploaded a series of pictures to her official Tumblr page earlier today (November 6) that show her ticking the boxes for the democratic party and signing her name on the ballot.

Yesterday, the 'Halo' superstar also wrote an open letter to President Obama which thanks him for being an inspiration to America: "You are the reason my daughter and nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be."

Meanwhile, actor Ian Somerhalder has warned fans not to post photos of their ballot because it could make their vote invalid and he wrote on Twitter: "

Tell followers not to post pictures of their ballot results on Ig (Instagram). It will be considered as an illegal vote. Obama dropped 3%. Do Not Post Ballot Pictures!!!! Posting ballot pictures can make (your) vote illegal! No Posting Picture!!!!"
