Beyoncé working with Justin Timberlake on new album

Beyoncé has revealed that Justin Timberlake has been working with her on the singer's new album.

The vocal star is currently working towards the follow-up to her 2011 album '4' and it seems she has been creating music with some esteemed company.

Speaking to GQ, Beyoncé revealed that she has been working with the likes of Timberlake and Pharrell Williams on new material. She said:

"I've been working with Pharrell and Timbaland and Justin Timberlake and Dream. We all started in the '90s, when R&B was the most important genre, and we all kind of want that back: the feeling that music gave us."

Talking about the album's influences, Beyoncé said: "Mostly R&B. I always have my Prince and rock/soul influences. There's a bit of D'Angelo, some '60s doo-wop. And Aretha and Diana Ross."

It is said the 'Love On Top' singer has written some 50 songs for the album.

Both Beyoncé and Timberlake were involved music comebacks yesterday (January 10), with the 'Single Ladies' star announcing the release of a new Destiny's Child song and Timberlake teasing his long-awaited return to music.
