Beyoncé's Super Bowl viewing figures and Twitter stats are revealed

'Halo' superstar Beyoncé rocked the Super Bowl's half-time show on Sunday night (February 3) in the USA and the social media statistics and viewing figures from her performance have finally been released.

Billboard reports that after analysing Nielsen data, it seems as though the vocal sensation pulled in an estimated 104 million viewers. The Super Bowl overall boasted 108.41 million viewers, making it the third-most-watched programme in TV history behind Super Bowl XLVI and Super Bowl XLV.

In addition to Beyoncé's impressive audience, Twitter confirmed that out of the 24.1 million tweets sent out about the world-famous sporting event, 5.5 million of them were about Beyoncé's incredible live set.

Speaking about her half-time performance, which also included a surprise collaboration with her Destiny's Child bandmates, she recently said: "It feels good to know that the hard work paid off. It's a live television show, it's the biggest show in America. There are so many things that could happen - and God was on my side."
