Beyoncé doesn't have to "bark" to be heard

International superstar Beyoncé likes that she doesn't have to "scream and bark" for her opinion to be heard.

The 'Crazy In Love' hitmaker says one of the highlights of being so successful in the industry is having a persuasive presence.

Speaking to British magazine Vogue, the star explained: "I'm very strong and very opinionated. My 'no' means no, my 'yes' means yes. I'm not negotiating certain things - I'm not. But I don't feel that I have to become something I'm not. I don't have to scream and bark and do all these crazy things because - thank God - I'm at a place where if someone doesn't agree, it's no problem, I walk away. It takes people time to understand that you mean business."

Beyoncé admits she is a perfectionist, and expects high standards from those around her too.

She continued: "I'm not just self-critical. I'm critical. I'm not so critical that I don't understand what's great and what's not, but I do push people. I push them and I push myself. It's just who I am. I was that way when I was nine years old. And no one taught me that, it's just who I was."
