Beyoncé has added a number of dates to her world tour.

The vocal superstar has been touring Europe and the US over the past few months with her successful Mrs. Carter Show tour.

She has now augmented her schedule with six New Zealand and Australia dates in October and November.

The jaunt will kick off at Auckland's Vector Arena on October 18 before hitting Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney.

Beyoncé will then play Adelaide before finishing up at the Perth Arena on November 8. The full tour schedule is as follows:

• October 18 - Vector Arena, Auckland
• October 22 - Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne
• October 28 - Entertainment Centre, Brisbane 
• October 31 - Allphones Arena, Sydney
• November 5 - Entertainment Centre, Adelaide 
• November 8 - Perth Arena
