Vocal powerhouse Beyoncé has admitted that she's amazed at Sia's songwriting abilities and is so proud to have recorded a track penned by her for her new visual self-titled album. 

'Pretty Hurts', which features on 'Beyoncé', was written by Sia and Beyoncé explained during commentary for iTunes Radio that she managed to convey a strong message without overpowering or intimidating the listener, which is an incredibly difficult feat:

"It's really difficult to find a song with such a strong message that doesn't feel preachy. Sia is such a genius. The second I heard the song I'm like, I have to sing this song. I don't care how hard I have to fight for the song, this is my song!"

Earlier this week, Beyoncé opened up about the message she wants to put out with the release of this exciting new record and confessed that it's about "finding the beauty in imperfection":

"My message behind this album was finding the beauty in imperfection. I had this image of a trophy and me accepting these awards, and kinda training myself to be this champion and at the end of the day when you go through all of these things, is it worth it?"
