G-Eazy has just announced a new philanthropic initiative called the Endless Summer Fund dedicated to helping under-served youth throughout the country starting with his hometown of San Francisco focusing on LGBTQ youth, homelessness, education, and mental illness. The fund will raise donations for select non-profit organizations across the U.S. with the first being Larkin Street Youth Services, the largest homeless youth drop-in center in San Francisco helping young people at risk of or experiencing homelessness, ages 12 to 24, through a range of services including outreach, shelter, housing, health, wellness, education and employment. The inaugural event for the launch of the Endless Summer Fund took place last Friday, July 27th at Larkin Street Youth Services where G-Eazy, together with PUMA, donated a $50,000 check ($17,000 of which was raised via his LGBTQ T-Shirt sale) that he himself hand delivered to the nonprofit's headquarters along with a donation of a wide range of Puma product.

"The Bay Area raised me and made me everything I am, so it means a lot to me to be able to come home and give back. And although it's one of the most beautiful and popular places to live in in the country, there are still around 1,300 homeless kids sleeping outside every night. Larkin st is one of the oldest and biggest homeless youth centers in the region, so it means everything to be able to help these kids by donating resources." - G-EAZY

For the event PUMA, Ike's Sandwiches, and Gerald's Essentials teamed up with G-Eazy's Endless Summer Fund to contribute to the special day in The Bay. Ike's Sandwich shop donated sandwiches and Gerald's Essentials - G-Eazy's new pomade company - donated free haircuts from 2 barbers all day and free pomade hair product as well. The following two days saw G-Eazy play consecutive sold-out shows in Sacramento at Toyota Amphitheater and Shoreline Amphitheater in Mountain View, CA on his Endless Sumer Tour where he bussed in 50 kids and staff from the Larkin Street Youth Center to attend the Sactown show for free.

To help raise awareness and support for the Endless Summer Fund, G is also working with Propeller to offer the opportunity for one lucky winner and a friend to fly to Miami for the last show on his Endless Summer Tour. The winner will receive roundtrip travel for two to Miami, hotel accommodations, VIP tickets to the concert to meet G.

It's really motivating and inspiring to know that someone with his success would take time out of their day to come visit us. - Alex Segers, Larkin Street Youth

I listen to his music all the time and so to finally meet him was kind of unreal. His music has helped me get through hard times in life and I just never thought I would meet him. - Ezekiel Addison, Larkin Street Youth

Walking into the space, you could feel the excitement which is both about who G-Eazy is, and the fact that somebody of his stature is taking time to dedicate to young people. From the free haircuts and gear from Puma to proceeds from the Pride Month t-shirts and him making an effort to come learn about our work and meet with young people - it all means the world to us because truly, it signifies caring.

We can deploy the funds G-Eazy donated where they're most needed - often, that is in things like education, employment, youth leadership, and performing arts. These are the elements that bring young people hope that they can change the trajectory of their lives and journey out of homelessness. - Sherilyn Adams, Executive Director of Larkin St. Youth Services

Over the past years G has been adamant about partnering with an organization that he feels touches issues dear to him. We're happy that Larkin Street is the first of what we hope to be many foundations that The Endless Summer Fund can have a positive impact on. - The Revels Group

We launched Maverick Impact this year to help artists reach their full potential, not just in what they create but how they contribute. We worked very closely with Gerald, his management team at The Revels Group and are proud of him for turning the Endless Summer Fund from an idea into a reality. - Molly DeWolf Swenson, Chief Impact Officer of Maverick
