Rapper/singer/activist Vic Mensa has shared the first song/video by his new band 93PUNX.

"Camp America" is based around ICE director Matthew Albence's comments comparing their immigrant prisons (aka detention centers) to summer camps. The accompanying video, which portrays white kids reenacting real life detention center scenarios, is equally poignant and provocative in its scathing critique of the current administration's family separation policy.

93PUNX is a new outlet for Vic Mensa to experiment with some of the rock influences that inform his musical background via an anthemic and singular fusion of alternative rock, rap, and punk. 93PUNX tour dates to be announced soon.
