Expertly weaving between her two mother tongues French and English, Zouaï takes “Galipette” to an even more hypnotic headspace with BIBI contributing a compelling flare of Korean that adds to the already electric track. The original single, “Galipette” (meaning “somersault” in French and also slang for rolling around in the sheets) has garnered over 2M streams worldwide since being released at the end of June. The striking music video, directed by Amber Grace Johnson (Jorja Smith, J Cole, Kali Uchis) stars Nia Dennis and other National Champions of the UCLA Gymnastics team.
