Explore the far flung reaches of your imagination with over 100 jaw-dropping performances, from live comedy, music and theatre to walks, talks and interactive installations – all set across three sustainably powered stages.

This year our theme is ‘heroes’. We’ll be celebrating superheroes, cult heroes, unlikely heroes, heroes of the animal world, Greek gods, eco-warriors and – of course – scientific heroes like the inspirational Albert Einstein himself! 

So get your cape on, wear your pants over your trousers and come and be a hero in Einstein’s Garden – we guarantee you won’t experience anything like it anywhere else this summer!

Mimina: For All Mankind

Witness the pioneering heroes of space as you’ve never seen them before with an atmospheric re-scoring of dramatic 1960s Apollo moon mission footage.

After Hours at the Pole Star Club

Experience some truly cosmic storytelling from Christine Watkins, the universe-mapping artist Maria Hayes and vocal violinist extraordinaire Sianed Jones.

The intrepid Yorkshire “EduPop’ trio continue their ambitious attempt to map the history of science through the medium of jaunty rock music.
