American pop-punk legends Blink-182 are set to headline this year's Reading and Leeds Festival in the UK, but they have now confirmed that they'll perform an exciting warm-up show earlier in August. 

The outdoor music extravaganza is due to take place across the weekend of August 22-24 and the 'Going Away To College' stars will play a show at London's Brixton Academy on August 6. 

Tickets are due to go on sale this coming Friday and Kerrang! magazine explained that there will be an exclusive 24-hour pre-sale through its official ticket shop soon. 

Other bands confirmed for Reading and Leeds include Paramore, Jimmy Eat World, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, Queens Of The Stone Age, Arctic Monkeys, and Imagine Dragons. There are still tickets available.
