Six year wait for Blur fans

After the news emerged that Blur were back playing music together, new details about exactly what they're doing have been revealed.

Graham Coxon has opened up to NME about the possibility of a new Blur record, but admits that it could be years before anything materializes:

"I suppose it might turn into an LP in six years or something,"

"Meeting up every now and then… maybe turning the tape recorder on and jamming around a few ideas."

When asked if a 2011 release was in the works, Coxon simply said:

"Well, I doubt it because all we're doing is getting together every now and then when we really feel the need. We don't feel obliged in that way."

"That kind of thing fucked Blur up in the first place - the obligation, the work. Especially with me..."
