In honor of the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, BMG label Trojan Records has released Do the Moonwalk, a dozen of the most popular and sought-after moon-themed reggae tracks.

The twelve track LP includes music from the period following the celebration of mankind’s first steps upon the surface of the moon with the successful Apollo 11 landing on June 22, 1969. The 20 track CD/digital format includes previously unreleased music.

The historic event was highly celebrated in Jamaica, where an array of local recording artists penned and cut songs to mark the occasion.

Do the Moonwalk is collection of original reggae sounds hailing from Jamaica, that combines space oddities and irresistible lunar reggae.
