In 2019, Berlin celebrates the 30th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. A variety of shows, events, and exhibitions remind visitors from Germany and all over the world of the construction of the wall, the division of Berlin, the Cold War and the Peaceful Revolution of 1989.

A music festival in front of Berlin's most important landmark, the Brandenburg Gate, brings national and international artists together on stage:

Besides the performances of the Staatskapelle Berlin under the direction of Daniel Barenboim and the techno pioneer WestBam, visitors can look forward to national and international musicians including BMG artists Anna Loos and Trettmann.

German TV broadcaster ZDF will livestream the anniversary celebrations.
