BMG recording artists Charlie Wilson, Tamar Braxton, and Ledisi have combined to score the top three singles, simultaneously, on the Mediabase R&B and Billboard Adult R&B Songs charts (chart week dated September 12, 2020). The charts track and measure the airplay of songs played on US urban adult contemporary radio stations.

With his latest chart-topping hit single ‘One I Got’, Wilson breaks the record for the most Number Ones by a male artist in the Billboard Adult R&B Songs chart 27-year history, while also moving into third place all-time on the chart with eight total Number One singles. Additionaly, ‘One I Got’ is Wilson’s fastest rising chart-topper, moving into the top slot in only 10 weeks. Earlier this spring, Wilson’s collaborative single with BMG songwriter Bruno Mars, ‘Forever Valentine’, topped the Billboard Adult R&B chart (chart week dated May 9, 2020).

Tamar Braxton's ‘Crazy Kind of Love’, featured in the theatrical film True To The Game 2: Gena’s Story, holds its peak position at number two, after 24 weeks on the charts. An interpolation of ‘Saving All My Love’, Whitney Houston’s Grammy award-winning song, ‘Crazy Kind of Love’ was produced for Braxton by Hitmaka, Paul Cabbin and Tariq Beats.

Ledisi’s ‘Anything For You’ jumps to number three this week, reaching a new peak after 21 weeks on the charts. The song is the lead single from her recently released, critically-acclaimed, new album The Wild Card (BMG), with Rolling Stone describing Ledisi as “more than a hit-maker…the type of elite vocal athlete that is increasingly hard to find, with shades of Sarah Vaughan and Chaka Khan audible in her swooping, eruptive, improvisatory vocals.”

In 2019, BMG ranked as the number four label in Adult R&B Radio chart share (Billboard and Mediabase), scoring four number one singles at Billboard Adult R&B, alongside multiple Top 5 and Top 10 charting singles through 2020.
