AU: Kwame Signs Global Publishing Deal with BMG

The signing comes with the recent release of his latest single ‘TOMMY'S IN TROUBLE’, featuring CLYPSO and Phil Fresh. The single is taken from his upcoming EP Please, Get Home Safe, due for release on 30 October. Kwame also recently signed with Vita Music Group for global management, marking the beginning of a new era for his artist project.

Of the signing with BMG, Kwame said, “I’m thrilled to be joining the lovely team over at BMG! Heath is a man of his words and has proven that time after time. I admire how upfront, honest and straight to the point the team are. It's quite rare to come across a team of people like this within the music industry. I'm truly blessed to continue aligning myself with the right people, they get it".

In 2018, Kwame was the recipient of triple j’s J Award for Unearthed Artist of the Year and won the Unearthed competition to open Splendour In The Grass. The same year, he was named FBi Radio’s ‘Next Big Thing’ and his single ‘WOW’ was awarded FBi’s SMAC Award for Best Song. Kwame has previously released two EPs, Lesson Learned (2017) and Endless Conversations (2018), and his single ‘Clouds’ was premiered by Zane Lowe on Beats 1. He has showcased at SXSW, performed sold out headline tours and supported the likes of Migos, 6lack, Skepta, AJ Tracey, Peking Duk, and Tkay Maidza.

Kwame joins a BMG publishing roster of Australian talent including Alison Wonderland, What So Not, AC/DC, Peking Duk, Illy, Hockey Dad, Golden Features, Meg Mac, Winston Surfshirt, Crowded House, Client Liaison, JET, SAFIA, Didirri, Montaigne, Wolfmother, Running Touch and many more.
