Following its original release in early June 2020, scoring Run The Jewels their highest chart debut ever, the hip-hop dream team of El-P and Killer Mike’s new album RTJ4 (BMG) has re-entered the US charts behind the physical release of the album on vinyl, CD, and cassette – as retailers are now beginning to re-open in the midst of the pandemic.

On the Billboard charts dated October 3, 2020, RTJ4 re-entered at number two Vinyl Albums, number four Top Album Sales and Top Current Album Sales, number five Independent Albums, number 25 Top Rap Albums, number 28 Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and number 42 on the Billboard 200.

Various versions of the physical release include Deluxe 4LP, 2LP standard vinyl versions on heavyweight neon magenta colored vinyl, CD, and a limited edition gold cassette tape.

Recorded primarily at Shangri-La Studios in Malibu and Electric Lady Studios in New York, RTJ4 represents two years of intensive writing and recording. The result is a concise and focused whirlwind of banging rap music which demonstrates Run The Jewels’ ability to straddle social commentary and raw, boisterous fun.

The album - which also features Pharrell Williams, Mavis Staples, 2 Chainz, Zack de la Rocha, Josh Homme, DJ Premier and Greg Nice - has been widely praised and looks destined to be one of the best albums of 2020.
