Up and coming Swedish singer-songwriter Amanda Björkegren, better known by her stage name Amanda Alexander, has signed a global publishing agreement with BMG.

Her upcoming solo EP is produced by David Mårtensson (Billie Eilish ‘all the good girls go to hell’ remix), Andreas Pfannenstill (Johnossi, Rebecca & Fiona, Titiyo), and Joakim Buddee (Summer Heart, Myra Granberg). The first single is set for release later this year.

Most recently, Amanda Alexander has penned songs for American and Swedish artists including a feature with Karma Fields ('.me'), Julia Lov (‘Säg Som Det Är‘), and Efraim Leo who competed in the 2021 Swedish music competition Melodifestivalen with the smash hit ‘Best Of Me’.

Said Amanda Alexander: “It feels fantastic to sign with a team who understand and inspire me and cheer me on throughout the creative process. I am grateful that the BMG team in Sweden and globally believe in me 100%!”

Linnéa Berg, BMG Head of A&R Publishing Scandinavia: “We are so happy that Amanda chose to be part of BMG. Her personality lights up an entire room, she has a unique expression, and her playful and ‘catchy’ melodic language is mixed with a nostalgic soul feeling when she writes music.”

Albert Slendebroek, BMG Managing Director Scandinavia, said: “Amanda Alexander is a unique talent, and we are really looking forward to a fantastic journey together. Welcome!”
