The Latin Recording Academy has announced the nominees for the 22nd Annual Latin Grammy Awards with six BMG songwriters and artists receiving six nominations from Song of the Year to Best New Artist. The Latin Grammy Awards are the preeminent international honor celebrating excellence in Latin music and its international membership of music creators representing all genres and creative disciplines, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, mixers, and engineers.

Among this year’s nominees, BMG songwriting duo Gente De Zona received two nominations for Song of the Year and Best Urban Song for co-writing ‘Patria Y Vida’; BMG newcomer and publishing client Paloma Mami received a nomination for Best New Artist; BMG recording artist and songwriter Lito MC Cassidy received a nomination for Best Rap Song, both performing and writing the single ‘La Vendedora De Placer’ (released via BMG). In addition, BMG songwriter Gino Borri received a nomination for Best Rap Song performing ‘Sana Sana’; and BMG songwriter Tuyo received a nomination for Best Portuguese Language Contemporary Pop Album for his latest release Chegamos Sozinhos Em Casa Vol.1.

The Latin Recording Academy will celebrate the 22nd Annual Latin GRAMMY Awards at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on November 18, 2021, with the telecast to air live on Univision at 8:00pm ET/PT (7:00pm central). The broadcast will also air on cable network TNT at 7:00pm (MEX)/8:00pm (PAN-COL)/9:00pm (VEN)/10:00pm (ARG/CHI). Additional international broadcasting partners will be announced at a later date.
