BMG songwriters were among the winners at this year's American Music Awards, billed as ‘the world’s largest fan-voted awards show’, held on November 21 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

Academy Award-winning BMG songwriter D’Mile received an award for Favorite R&B Song for Silk Sonic’s hit ‘Leave The Door Open’. The song, performed by the R&B super duo composed of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak, also received a nomination for Favorite Music Video.

In Country, Emily Landis and Jim McCormick scored an award for Favorite Country Song with ‘The Good Ones’. The two BMG songwriters were recently honored at the 2021 BMI Country Awards.
