BMG will release the second installment of his new album MACON, GEORGIA on April 22 through its Broken Bow Records label and will be his label for his following next three albums. BMG moved to clarify the situation following the appearance of stories on Thursday (February 24, 2022) suggesting that investment fund Spirit Music Group had acquired Aldean’s catalog. In fact, BMG remains Aldean’s label until at least 2030. BMG Nashville President Jon Loba said, “We understand Spirit’s enthusiasm, but they are a little premature. We congratulate Jason on his deal and look forward to continuing to work with him exactly as we have for the past 18 years.” Jason Aldean and the team from BBR/BMG at the CMA party 2021 (c) Sara Krauss MACON, GEORGIA marks Aldean's 10th studio release with the 30-track project paying homage to Aldean’s hometown and state.
