Two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Famer and co-founder of the Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash, David Crosby, has announced his forthcoming live album David Crosby & The Lighthouse Band Live at the Capitol Theatre, due for release December 9 via BMG.

Crosby joins forces with collaborators Becca Stevens, Michelle Willis, and Michael League, the three musicians known as The Lighthouse Band, who he’s been working with since 2016’s Lighthouse album.

Recorded and filmed at the historic Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, NY, the sixteen-track live offering will be released along with a companion DVD set of the performance. The setlist includes an uncut gem with the song ‘1974’ - a long-lost demo track that Crosby had floating around on his computer hard drive for decades.

In promotion of the upcoming album, Crosby has released the performance footage of Crosby, Stills and Nash classic 'Guinnevere’.

The Capitol Theatre owner, Peter Shapiro, said: “Hosting David Crosby at The Capitol Theatre was an honor for us and when David came out and crushed his performance it elevated things even further. We feel very fortunate that this legendary moment was captured forever.”

Spotlighting the kindred relationship Crosby shares with League, Stevens, and Willis, this very special live performance acts as a celebration of a folk-rock legend who continues to be a cultural force for over fifty years.

BMG has worked closely with Crosby in recent years, acting as the sole financier of the critically acclaimed documentary David Crosby: Remember My Name. The upcoming release marks the first live album as a solo artist and fourth release with BMG, following 2021’s For Free.
